2013-04-08hw: move target-independent files to subdirectoriesPaolo Bonzini1-581/+0
This patch tackles all files that are compiled once, moving them to subdirectories of hw/. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2013-04-08hw: move headers to include/Paolo Bonzini1-1/+1
Many of these should be cleaned up with proper qdev-/QOM-ification. Right now there are many catch-all headers in include/hw/ARCH depending on cpu.h, and this makes it necessary to compile these files per-target. However, fixing this does not belong in these patches. 2013-03-01hw: include hw header files with full pathsPaolo Bonzini1-2/+2
Done with this script: cd hw for i in `find . -name '*.h' | sed 's/^..//'`; do echo '\,^#.*include.*["<]'$i'[">], s,'$i',hw/&,' done | sed -i -f - `find . -type f` This is so that paths remain valid as files are moved. Instead, files in hw/dataplane are referenced with the relative path. We know they are not going to move to include/, and they are the only include files that are in subdirectories _and_ move. 2013-01-25adb: QOM'ify ADB devicesAndreas Färber1-66/+178
They were not qdev'ified before. Derive ADBDevice from DeviceState and convert reset callbacks to DeviceClass::reset, ADBDevice::opaque pointer to ADBDevice subtypes for mouse and keyboard and adb_{kbd,mouse}_init() to regular qdev functions. Fixing Coding Style issues and splitting keyboard and mouse off into their own files is left for a later point in time. 2013-01-25adb: QOM'ify Apple Desktop BusAndreas Färber1-0/+14
It was not a qbus before, turn it into a first-class bus and initialize it properly from CUDA. Leave it a global variable as long as devices are not QOM'ified yet. Signed-off-by: Andreas Färber <afaerber@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Alexander Graf <agraf@suse.de>

2010-07-06savevm: Add DeviceState paramAlex Williamson1-2/+2
When available, we'd like to be able to access the DeviceState when registering a savevm. For buses with a get_dev_path() function, this will allow us to create more unique savevm id strings. 2009-06-29Revert "Introduce reset notifier order"Jan Kiszka1-1/+1
This reverts commit 8217606e6edb49591b4a6fd5a0d1229cebe470a9 (and updates later added users of qemu_register_reset), we solved the problem it originally addressed less invasively. Signed-off-by: Jan Kiszka <jan.kiszka@siemens.com> Signed-off-by: Anthony Liguori <aliguori@us.ibm.com>
2009-05-22Introduce reset notifier orderJan Kiszka1-1/+1
Add the parameter 'order' to qemu_register_reset and sort callbacks on registration. On system reset, callbacks with lower order will be invoked before those with higher order. Update all existing users to the standard order 0. Note: At least for x86, the existing users seem to assume that handlers are called in their registration order. Therefore, the patch preserves this property. If someone feels bored, (s)he could try to identify this dependency and express it properly on callback registration.
