Done with this script: cd hw for i in `find . -name '*.h' | sed 's/^..//'`; do echo '\,^#.*include.*["<]'$i'[">], s,'$i',hw/&,' done | sed -i -f - `find . -type f` This is so that paths remain valid as files are moved. Instead, files in hw/dataplane are referenced with the relative path. We know they are not going to move to include/, and they are the only include files that are in subdirectories _and_ move. 2013-01-15Make default boot order machine specificAvik Sil1-0/+1
This patch makes default boot order machine specific instead of set globally. The default boot order can be set per machine in QEMUMachine boot_order. This also allows a machine to receive a NULL boot order when -boot isn't used and take an appropriate action accordingly. This helps machine boots from the devices as set in guest's non-volatile memory location in case no boot order is provided by the user. 2012-12-19net: reorganize headersPaolo Bonzini1-1/+1
Move public headers to include/net, and leave private headers in net/. Put the virtio headers in include/net/tap.h, removing the multiple copies that existed. This should help us to: - More easily add or remove machine initialization arguments without having to change every single machine init function; - More easily make mechanical changes involving the machine init functions in the future; - Let machine initialization forward the init arguments to other functions more easily. This change was half-mechanical process: first the struct was added with the local ram_size, boot_device, kernel_*, initrd_*, and cpu_model local variable initialization to all functions. We have the following simplified callgraph in mips_fulong2e_init(): cpu_init() => cpu_mips_init() object_new() mips_cpu_initfn() cpu_exec_init() register_savevm(NULL, "cpu", cpu_index, CPU_SAVE_VERSION, cpu_save, cpu_load, env) register_savevm(NULL, "cpu", 0, 3, cpu_save, cpu_load, env) CPU_SAVE_VERSION is defined as 3 in target-mips/cpu.h. fulong2e instantiates one CPU, so its cpu_index is 0. Thus the two are fully identical. Therefore just remove the second call in fulong2e. HPET legacy emulation will require control over the PIT IRQ output. To enable this, add support for an alternative IRQ output object to the PIT factory function. If the isa_irq number is < 0, this object will be used. This also removes the IRQ number property from the PIT class as we now use a generic GPIO output pin that is connected by the factory function. 2012-01-04vmstate, memory: decouple vmstate from memory APIAvi Kivity1-2/+4
Currently creating a memory region automatically registers it for live migration. This differs from other state (which is enumerated in a VMStateDescription structure) and ties the live migration code into the memory core. Decouple the two by introducing a separate API, vmstate_register_ram(), for registering a RAM block for migration.
