2016-05-19hw: clean up hw/hw.h includesPaolo Bonzini1-2/+2
Include qom/object.h and exec/memory.h instead of exec/ioport.h; exec/ioport.h was almost everywhere required only for those two includes, not for the content of the header itself. Remove block/aio.h, everybody is already including it through another path. With this change, include/hw/hw.h is freed from qemu-common.h. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2016-05-19hw: explicitly include qemu/log.hPaolo Bonzini1-1/+0
Move the inclusion out of hw/hw.h, most files do not need it. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2016-05-19qemu-common: push cpu.h inclusion out of qemu-common.hPaolo Bonzini1-1/+0

2016-05-19hw: cannot include hw/hw.h from user emulationPaolo Bonzini1-2/+3
All qdev definitions are available from other headers, user-mode emulation does not need hw/hw.h. By considering system emulation only, it is simpler to disentangle hw/hw.h from NEED_CPU_H. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2016-05-19hw: move CPU state serialization to migration/cpu.hPaolo Bonzini1-49/+0
Remove usage of NEED_CPU_H from hw/hw.h. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2016-03-22include/hw/hw.h: Don't include qemu-common.hMarkus Armbruster1-1/+3
qemu-common.h should only be included by .c files. Its file comment explains why: "No header file should depend on qemu-common.h, as this would easily lead to circular header dependencies." hw/hw.h includes qemu-common.h, but its users generally need only hw_error() and qemu/module.h from it. Move the former to hw/hw.h, include the latter there, and drop the ill-advised include. hw/misc/cbus.c now misses hw_error(), so include hw/hw.h there. 2016-01-16vmstate: define vmstate_info_uinttlJuan Quintela1-0/+2
We are going to define arrays of this type, so we need the integer type. Signed-off-by: Juan Quintela <quintela@redhat.com> [PMM: updated to apply on current QEMU; renamed to 'uinttl' rather than 'uinttls' to match other vmstate naming] Signed-off-by: Peter Maydell <peter.maydell@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Mark Cave-Ayland <mark.cave-ayland@ilande.co.uk>
2014-12-22bootdevice: move code about bootorder from vl.c to bootdevice.cGonglei1-6/+0
First, we can downsize vl.c, make it simpler by little and little. Second, I can maintain those code and make some improvement. Cc: Jan Kiszka <jan.kiszka@siemens.com> Signed-off-by: Gonglei <arei.gonglei@huawei.com> Reviewed-by: Markus Armbruster <armbru@redhat.com>

2013-04-08hw: move headers to include/Paolo Bonzini1-0/+76
Many of these should be cleaned up with proper qdev-/QOM-ification. Right now there are many catch-all headers in include/hw/ARCH depending on cpu.h, and this makes it necessary to compile these files per-target. However, fixing this does not belong in these patches.
