From c639187e3342cb14e100d14ce4854444f7ae98d5 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "Dr. David Alan Gilbert" Date: Mon, 12 Mar 2018 17:21:19 +0000 Subject: vhost-user: Add VHOST_USER_POSTCOPY_END message MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit This message is sent just before the end of postcopy to get the client to stop using userfault since we wont respond to any more requests. It should close userfaultfd so that any other pages get mapped to the backing file automatically by the kernel, since at this point we know we've received everything.
