Done with this script: cd hw for i in `find . -name '*.h' | sed 's/^..//'`; do echo '\,^#.*include.*["<]'$i'[">], s,'$i',hw/&,' done | sed -i -f - `find . -type f` This is so that paths remain valid as files are moved. Instead, files in hw/dataplane are referenced with the relative path. We know they are not going to move to include/, and they are the only include files that are in subdirectories _and_ move. 2013-01-15Make default boot order machine specificAvik Sil1-0/+1
This patch makes default boot order machine specific instead of set globally. The default boot order can be set per machine in QEMUMachine boot_order. This also allows a machine to receive a NULL boot order when -boot isn't used and take an appropriate action accordingly. This helps machine boots from the devices as set in guest's non-volatile memory location in case no boot order is provided by the user. target_phys_addr_t is unwieldly, violates the C standard (_t suffixes are reserved) and its purpose doesn't match the name (most target_phys_addr_t addresses are not target specific). Replace it with a finger-friendly, standards conformant hwaddr. This should help us to: - More easily add or remove machine initialization arguments without having to change every single machine init function; - More easily make mechanical changes involving the machine init functions in the future; - Let machine initialization forward the init arguments to other functions more easily. This change was half-mechanical process: first the struct was added with the local ram_size, boot_device, kernel_*, initrd_*, and cpu_model local variable initialization to all functions. The configurable property for this IP in the Xilinx tools is a boolean switch "one-timer-only" that flicks this timer from being dual channel to single. 2012-01-04vmstate, memory: decouple vmstate from memory APIAvi Kivity1-1/+2
Currently creating a memory region automatically registers it for live migration. This differs from other state (which is enumerated in a VMStateDescription structure) and ties the live migration code into the memory core. Decouple the two by introducing a separate API, vmstate_register_ram(), for registering a RAM block for migration. cfi02 is annoying in that is ignores some address bits; we probably want explicit support in the memory API for that. In order to get the correct opaque into the MemoryRegion object, the allocation scheme is changed so that the flash emulation code allocates memory, instead of the caller. 2011-06-17PPC: move TLBs to their own arraysAlexander Graf1-2/+2
Until now, we've created a union over multiple different TLB types and allocated that union. While it's a waste of memory (and cache) to allocate TLB information for a TLB type with much information when you only need little, it also inflicts another issue. With the new KVM API, we can now share the TLB between KVM and qemu, but for that to work we need to have both be in the same layout. We can't just stretch it over to fit some internal different TLB representation. Hence this patch moves all TLB types to their own array, allowing us to only address and allocate exactly the boundaries required for the specific TLB type at hand.
